Well, what do you guys think of this? I have used both types of training. I have made the most gains off of low volume training. I feel that I am to attack the muscles with high intensity and give the muscles sufficient rest and recovery. Of course, not everyone adapts to the same type of program. When I say volume, I say anything over 12 sets per large muscle group and over 9 sets for a small muscle group.

Well, you know how I feel about this :) It's all about low volume and heavy weights for me. I tried the high volume stuff for a short while, and it got me nowhere. But hey, thats just me. Everybody is different.

Hmm... I guess... in the end, I'm more low volume... but low volume for me is around 5-8 WORK SETS TOTAL for my workout... some might say that is HIGH VOLUME...
But to me... it feels like low.

I go with a high volume, I train one muscle group a day, on an 8 day rotation. Calves being the exception.

I have been a big believer in less is more for a while now... HOWEVER... I just started hitting up animal masses Dual Factor Hypertrophy program which includes some periodization...
So there are portions with both high volume and low volume...
Seems interesting... I will post my results when finished...
