much like shin splints but in the forearms.... hurts especially bad when you let go of the weights you are using.

any suggestions on what to do for the pain... i have heard everyone say work through it or just take some time off... well working through it has become a chore because i just can't use the weights i need and i feel like i would be better off just becoming a cardio bunny and working legs 2 or 3 times a week.

This can be trouble for your training. . .what bicep movements or other exercises affect the area. . .preacher curls??

almost all curls, side laterals with dumbells... shrugs are impossible, a lot of presses... basically anything upper body sucks at the moment... i have taken 3 days off and am taking tommorow off and if it continues i will maybe get my surgery sooner than later and give the whole body time to heal.

Since so many exercises affect the forearms. . .I would recommend taking some time off and let your body recover. I feel bad for you because this is an unfortunate situation. Hang in there bro and you will get better.
