1. You remember that one guy in every '80's teen angst movie like Duckie in "Pretty In Pink", the one that never got the girl for whatever reason? That was me and still is to this day.
2. I am the undisputed King of Unrequited love.
3. My 15 minutes of fame was being two-time Mr. Teenage Atlanta.
4. I am 1/8 American Indian, but you can't tell by looking.
5. I haven't been in a fight of any kind since I was 13.
6. I think I have a fear of responsibility.
7. In high school I got a certificate for good attendance. I probably didn't miss 15 days total from 1st grade thru 12th. (I made up for it in college)
8. I moved across country for someone I met on AOL.
9. I haven't boinked a black girl since college. I think i'm too white for them.
10. I am a classic underachiever

1) I've shot missiles, dropped bombs and been shot at in anger.
2) I was an all-state goalie in hockey. Played for a few years in college, but ended up getting cut from the team. Kept playing for years... now I live in the south and hockey rinks are far and few between.
3) 4 Years ago, I came close to being killed in a car accident. Wife and kids were also in the car. They came out without a scratch. Reality checks happen fast.
4) In the mid 1990's I used to run a free website that had a bunch of odd flying contraptions on it. It was written up in magazines nationally and internationally.
5) I live and work in a world of secrets. I'm chocked to the gill with clearances. I usually can't tell my wife what I'm doing. That doesn't go over well.
6) I write software on the side. One of the more interesting projects was a rush job. In 7 days, I - and 2 others - wrote code to control a micro-UAV that was used in Iraqi Freedom. Finished it up and shipped it to the desert just prior to D-Day. They were calling my house via sat-phone to clear up some issues
7) I will give up a stellar career in the AF because I place my family life above my job.
8) I'm a bonfide geek. I'm building a robot that has a onboard computer, a couple of micro-controllers and a host of other stuff. My kids love it.
9) I'm scared of hieghts. It doesn't bother me when I'm flying, but I can't go near a roof.
10) I'd like to write a book someday. Don't know about what. It's just one of those goals.

I agree with diggin' this thread but unfortunately, everyone here knows everything about me so I am just gonna make shit up...
(1) I am actually the illegitimate child of JFK and I am still pissed at uncle Teddy for throwing me in the trash in a drunken stupor.
(2) I was once a very talented NASCAR driver but I was banned from racing for having too many of my own teeth and some semblence of manners.
(3) I was actually the first child in space but NASA insisted on photoshopping my pictures to make me look like a monkey.
(4) If I wish you dead, you will be dead within 6 hours - it's a strange power that I possess but don't like to talk about much.
(5) Two words - more cowbell.
(6) I used to play rugby with a guy who could piss over a Volkswagen (this one is true).
(7) I can turn a river into a raging fire and I can live forever if I so desired.

1. I'm Indian. I was born in India and moved to Maryland when I was 7 years old.
2. I'm shy when first meeting people, and can take a long time to really open up and be myself.
3. Another "genius" here. I was Valedictorian of my high school and graduated with the highest GPA in my county. I got perfect or near-perfect scores on all the board tests. Without really putting forth much effort.

1. I was saludatorian in my high school until I got a D- in computer programming - in my last semester so I got bumped to 4th... the programs at the graduation still had my name on them. :)
2. I competed at Nationals 2x (1995 and 1996) in the High Jump. I qualified for the Olympic trials only to have my achelles tendon near snapped after clearing my highest jump, well over 7'.
3. I once stepped on Gary Fencik's foot in first class of a DC-10 coming back from Hawaii when I was in 6th grade - it was the winter after they won the Super Bowl back in 85.
4. I love a dark rum - Barcardi - the older the vintage the better... and I drink it straight when I do.
5. I once hit a woman in the face after she pulled a knife out on my and swung at my stomach - I was almost arrested until the police saw the tapes from the club.
6. I wrestled for the NAWF for a period of 6 months - I was thrown out the "hard way" and landed on my back - taking me out of any sort of competiton like that in the future.
7. My favorite candy would be kit-kats and peanut-butter M&Ms.
8. Citruscide first came about because my original screen name on Jedi Knight Dark Forces II - the MSN Game Zone - was MrOrange. I was ranked 9th in the ladder out of 20,000 participants and was one of the best at saber fighting. ranks 1-8 were gun fighters (i.e., wouldn't use sabers) - so in an attempt to reclimb the ladder - I retired MrOrange from the ladder and started up Citruscide - a name I ment to be an ironic twist - the Death of MrOrange and the rebirth of a new character. I climbed the ranks until I got up to 15th - when someone recognized my fighting style and then no one would play me. Hence, the story behind my name "Citruscide" rather than "MrOrange".
9. I have three degrees. A BA, JD, and an MS. I'm a licensed attorney in IL and CA. Never took an IQ test, but I'd say I can solve problems like a champ. ;)
10. Kronk and I are best friends. I would lay down in hell for an eternity if it would mean his salvation.

1: I hate inconveniences. Especially of the mechanical sort that are beyond my control. Things should work when they are supposed to.
2: I'm a neat freak. My home doesn't have to be spotless but there is a place for everything and when not in use it should be returned to that spot.
3: I played basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball and hockey in highschool. I play none of them now.
4: I love cheese.
5: I'm "cute". I'd like to be sexy or pretty just once but I'm doomed to being "cute".

1) I'm 6'6 and 250 lbs
2) I moved from Dallas to Rhode Island when I was 4 and lived here ever since
3) Im 19
4) I was made All State for basketball here in RI - played basketball and volleyball in high school. Regret not playing football because I wouldve been the biggest kid and wouldve been very good (i hope)
5) Been a member here for ages (it seems) but havent really started posting alto till now. I had like 900 posts over at EF before we all left.
6) One of my old GFs dumped me for a 6'8 black guy (hey, atleast it wasnt a 5'6 150 lb white guy) I'm white btw, not that it matters.
7) I make $6k a month on the internet :)
8) That $6k pays for my 35k a year school.. and then some other stuff :)
9) Im a lazy fuck and all I do is go to skip classes and lift weights. The rest of the day I'm laying on my bed with my laptop surfing the net.
10) I'm in love with hip hop and I've been to about 10 rap concerts already this year (and I'm hitting up the Sage Francis show tomarrow night in Cambridge :D )

4. I am in the middle of going back to college for civil engineering, and I have a BS in exercise science and a couple fitness certifications, that I don't need anymore
5. I worked as a personal trainer in lower manhattan (two blocks from the WTC. I was working on 9/11/2001...and luckily everyone I knew was fortunate enough to live through it (one of my clients lost 14 of his friends, and many more colleagues)
6.There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about what happened on 9/11
7. My Grandmother (dad's mom), is part french canadian and part native american...the french canadian is the same group of people that are now known as Cajun in the Louisiana area...my family just missed the boat.
8. My varsity sport in high school was golf (and still play regularly today)
9. My wife and I have been married for 18 months on Wednesday, but we've been together for 11 years in May (i'm only 28, she's 25)
10. I played the trombone from the fourth grade until sophomore year in college. I played in the highschool jazz band which was one of the top three high school jazz ensembles in VT and arguably the northeast. I played the bass trombone when I started in the jazz band (everyone loves the low notes). I won some awards and was part of the all state jazz ensemble (for VT) one year. I regret every day that I gave it up.

2. I am an suffer from some sort of obsessive/compulsive/manic/depressive/anxiety/panic disorder and rather than seeking to relieve the stress I seek out situations that give me the maximum number of things to worry about thus driving myself to the brink of insanity on a regular basis.
3. I read self-help books and medicate myself sporadically to deal with the above.
4. I have spent most of my life in a constant state of rebellion and was damn lucky to graduate high school because of it.
5. I am married to a man that I absolutely adore and who adores me in spite of all of the above.
6. I have a 22 year old son and an 11 year old daughter who I also adore, well, most of the time anyway.

3) I went through BUD/S (Basic Underwater Demolitions / SEALS training) only to get discharged from the Navy for assault on my LPO for grabbing my jacket out of his hands. Yes, well, when you are trying to kill the buffalo they get a little crabby. Actually, in general they just have an ugly ass disposition. They had him in a bull hauler and the old guy that we bought the packing plant from was screaming for somebody to climb up there and chase him to the end. I was the only "someone" there. When I grabbed the side of the trailer to pull myself up, he spun and kicked and was absolutely accurate as to where my hand was hooked over the trailer edge. I had to wait in the emergency room while they put a cast on the guys arm who loaded him because he didn't fair much better than I did. In the end they shot him in the head 7 times with a high powered rifle at about 3', they guys said they would shoot him and he would just shake his head, snort and stare at them. He basically bled to death. We later learned that buffalo have very small brains and if you don't hit exactly the right spot they are not going to die. When they die, though, their eyes turn neon green which is a bit freaky.

The coolest thing about the StarTrek: Next Generation set was that the set was really laid out like being on the starship. You walked from room to room just like there was a real Enterprise. It was a little choppy and odd rooms connected to each other in odd ways... like 10 Forward connected to the bridge... or you could look to the side and the whole wall was open to accomodate cameras... but all in all it was a great illusion. Deep Space 9's set was the same way. You really felt you were on the station. I loved working there - it was sort of a childhood dream come true.

4. i make way to much money for someone with an A.S. degree (the doctors and lawyers in my neighborhood hate me. (i usually only work 20-30 hours a week)

OK... lets see if there are 10 things people don't know about me.
1. I was with a girl between the ages of 19-21.5, we broke up mutually because we thought we were too young and its one of the biggest regrets of my life. I think about it every day and often have dreams/nightmares about her.
2. I am a MAJOR workaholic, I work 8-5pm full time for a Business Intelligence company and own my own business on the side which I operate on weekends and on the evenings during the week.
3. I don't actually fuck goats.. LOL
4. I spend a lot of time wishing I was with somebody/had somebody to spend my minimal free time with. I seem to find somebody new every week or two, but as soon as they start to get close to me, i get rid of them. Mental Tug of war.. its fucked.
5. I overanalyze the shit out of absolutely fucking everything. Life, peoples personalities, peoples reactions, peoples actions, behavior.... EVERYTHING
6. I am a very high low person... when Im in a good mood, I am down to do anything and almost always have a good time. When I'm in a low mood, I just like to chill.

1. i've always been the mediator of my friends, acting as a liason between more than a few groups that couldn't stand each other at one point or another. eventually everyone becomes friends.
2. i had a testicular torrsion my freshman year of highschool. my balls are now surgically sewn in the right position so it can't happen again. i could've lost my testicle if i didn't get it looked at fast enough, how bad would that have sucked?
3. i lead a double life of sorts, different name and everything. chances are if you've met me casually through a friend, you don't even know my real name.
4. i've never been in a situation where the conflict couldn't be resolved with words.
5. i have a very close, casual relationship with my parents and a pretty relaxed homelife.
6. i am fiercely protective of my friends and family. my friends would kill or be killed for me, i would do the same.
7. i gained the reputation of a drug dealer in highschool due to certain friends i have and my mysterious income. in reality, i was getting an allowance so my grades wouldn't slip due to having to work. the reputation still follows me somehow.
8. i've only had 2 girlfriends in my life and each relationship was about 3 years. the first one is having twins with a friend of mine and the second i'm still working on getting back.
9. i used to dye my hair WAY too much. for the longest time people thought i was naturally dirty blonde. my real hair colour is actually a pretty dark brown.
10. i've swallowed live goldfish, plural, at a party to impress girls. wasn't that bad except i felt sorta bad for the fishies afterwards.

This is the best I can do since most of you know way too much about me anyway - maybe I can surprise a few of you...
(1) I was born and raised on the southwest side of Chicago and lived there til I was 16. My old neighborhood now has the highest murder rate in the city. I have never lived further than 20 miles from where I grew up.
(2) I declined a commission in the United States Army because I felt that I was a poor leader and did not want to subject anyone to that shortcoming. It is the only decision that I question to this day.
(3) I was slated to meet President Reagan at the white house the day he was shot. I never had that opportunity again. He was the only president I ever had any interest in meeting.
(4) I broke my ankle on my fifth parachute jump twenty-three years ago and did not tell anyone about it for a week for fear that it would disqualify me - four years ago I fell off my roof (about 16 feet) and walked away without a scratch while my neighbor watched in amazement. It was the one and only perfect PLF that I have ever executed.
(5) I have donated more time, money and effort to various veterans groups (and veterans) than I can remember. I believe that every veteran is a national treasure. I have been blessed with being in the company of heroes on my stay in this lifetime.
(6) I cannot think of one person on this planet that would lay down their life for me but I have walked through fire for ones I have loved and respected (and will always carry the scars to prove it).
(7) In 2003, I almost died from a kidney infection. It was the closest I have ever come to dying from an illness and it changed my life both for better and worse. To this day, I think of how had I lived before the advent of antibiotics, I would have succumbed at the age of 42. Some days I believe that this is a good thing and other days I do not.
(8) I have absolutely no patience whatsoever and my wife has less.
(9) My parents never attended any of my football games after I was ejected from one game for unsportsmanlike conduct. I was never flagged for UC after that day.
(10) I believe that evil does exist in this world because I have seen it and experienced it.

In High School, my family thought I was a lesbian because I hardly ever was seen with a boyfriend. My sister compared my humor and attitude to the character Darlene from "Rosanne"
I am extremely laid back but when it comes to most things, but people and things I really care about I tend to worry about them too much.
I have not met too many people that I do not get along with.
I dropped out of HS in order to work fulltime, to support my sister and mother.
My job consists of welding, carpentry, masonry, locksmithing sheet metal fabrication. Jack of all trade and have mot mastered one yet :awink:
My biggest fear in life is failure and regret.

1. Many people in my family are pilots... one of which, a close cousin, recently lost his life in a crash where he was flying the plane.
2. Yes, I can take off, fly and land airplanes.
3. Before I dislocated my left shoulder - I threw a 25 yard TD pass in intermural flag football - with my left hand - I'm right handed.
4. My longest winning streak at Mortal Kombat (very first one) is 129 victories in a row - vs. other members of my freshman dorm floor. I missed 1 night class because of this.
5. I once bonged 16oz of Captian Morgan Rum mixed with 4oz of Dr.Pepper ... I was tricked and passed out 15 minutes later.
6. Sometimes, I get massive headaches - so bad, I can barely talk.
7. I snore ... loudly.
8. The longest distance relationship I've been in has been across the world - Chicago to China.
9. I used to wish I was black - but that is before I learned how the world worked. Now I am happy I am white.... it's sad... but true.

My ten.
1.I got a DWI when i was 18 then waited until i was 28 to get 3 more in in 6 months. I learned a lesson and havent had even a seatbelt ticket since.
2. I spent 28 days on cold concrete in an overcrowded holding cell for breaking probation.
3.It cost me $12,000 to keep from going to prison for my DWIs between lawyer fees and fines.
4.I believe strongly in prayer and God above.
5. I occasionally go out to restaurant bars w/ a Priest friend from an Abbey drinkin but not drinkin too many.(He stood in court on my behalf BTW)
6.I have joint custody of my 10 yr old daughter who is my best friend.
7.Most of my relationships w/ girls from high school until about 4 yrs ago were w/ them knowing that i saw other girls on the side on occasion( i worked in bars a few of those yrs and they knew my reputation)....we just never brought it up.
8.My mother was violently taken from us in a robbery.
9.I work in healthcare and it was my fascination w/ anabolics that got me started studying medical related subjects and paved the way for my career.
10. I love making someone elses day a good one if at all possible and will honestly do anything to help a friend.

Let's see if I can do this:
1. I already told you a collect produce stickers. It's actually much more fascinating than you think. I can spend hours in grocery stores to get good ones. (You are the first ones to be informed of my hobby, BTW)
2. I really hate large parties. Too much noise, too much distraction, I am much more comfortable with small groups of people. (Again, I don't think I have ever told anyone that)
3. I have never bounced a check, I have never spent a night in a lock-up.
4. I don't drink alcohol for a reason. Once I start I can't stop, although a social lubricant will make me the life of any party very quickly. (This may be the reason for #2)
5. My Internet life is pretty much a secret. If you met me you would think I was a corporate pillar of the community.
6. I have dumped 4 out 5 of my closest friends in the last 4 years. One became a heroin addict, the other 3 started to passively taking advantage of me, I guess through our long relationships they figured I would always be there no matter what they did to me.
7. I have put my life on hold for the last 3 years due to my dog. I figured I would wait for her to pass before making any drastic changes. Now that she has, I am very excited about the future.
8. I plan to move into my minivan for 4 months very soon.
9. My formative years were extremely difficult due to circumstances well beyond my control. Because of this I learned many things early in life which makes life very easy for me to handle. Most people are learning now what I learned many many years ago.
10. I like to throw things away. I am a minimalist at heart.

1. My family owns a farm which i will one day own.

1. In elementary school I was tested to go to a school for gifted kids but didn't go.
2. I first tried crystal meth, LSD, marijuana, DXM and cocaine when I was in 12-13 years old in 8th grade. I last use them in 9th grade. This was becuase I thought mind-altering experiences were a blast and my parents were in the middle of a vicious divorce and weren't paying much attention. In 8th grade for our science project my friend and I tried extracting DXM from Robitussin.
3. I failed classes in 9th grade. I then went to a new school of my own volition and got myself in order, and tested out of 10th grade which allowed me merely to graduate on time.
4. My biggest fear is the absence of an afterlife. My deepest faith is in God.
5. I constantly refine my thinking to become more objective and a more proficient thinker. Part of this involves not being indulgent to emotional impulses because they pollute the thought process and can lead to false conclusions.
6. I think the correct future for me is in service of something greater than myself, and I am majoring in history and training for just that purpose.
7. I think it is America's destiny and duty to lead the world on the path towards freedom before we lose our hegemony.
8. I love bodybuilding independent of it's advantages with respect to women. When I work at it and stay lean and groomed I can beat most men out there in appearance, but I don't connect with women anyway so it typically matters little. Getting huge, strong, and pumped is in the top two most fun things I have ever done.

I'm pretty new here and I hardly even know any of you, but reading this thread has made me fell alot closer to people then I would have thought possible by now! Some brave brothers and sisters out there!
So here's my ten or so....
1 Quit High School when I was 16 and left home (my father was a drunk)
2. Sailed across the Pacific twice on freighters taking ammo and supplies to Vietnam
3. Lived on the streets of NY for 6 years and did everything bad you can think of.
4. Finished my GED and got an AS degree in engineering

I'm pretty new here and I hardly even know any of you, but reading this thread has made me fell alot closer to people then I would have thought possible by now! Some brave brothers and sisters out there!
So here's my ten or so....

Ten things, huh?
1. I marched drum and bugle corps for 8 years.
2. I spent 6 years in college. I didn't change majors or flunk classes or anything, it was just that I was there to learn and would take any class that seemed interesting to me whether it applied to my major or not.
3. My girlfriend had the hots for me before I ever knew she existed. I met her at the bar accidentally when I mistook her for my neighbor. That was three years ago.
4. I have passed out on a sidewalk on mainstreet. Despite the demands of my buddy (who was pissed that I've never been arrested for anything), the cops just picked me up and drove me to my sister's place.
5. I was a three-time "paperboy of the month" in 1988 for the Waseca County News. I think that's a record or something.
6. I own a Dolly Parton box set and I listen to it regularly.
7. I have been drunk and naked in a Milwaukee public school cafeteria.
8. I have been drunk and naked in the middle of a bar on Rush St. in Chicago.
9. I used to be addicted to ephedra. I've since kicked the addiction and have never felt better.
10. My 23 year old brother is a stud and is dating a super-hot "action news reporter".

1) I can play trumpet, clarinet, flute, saxaphone, french horn, and drums.
2) I raced bikes as a kid and will always be a tomboy
3) I used to handle 200lb stallions in the breeding shed while collecting their semen for articficial insemination on broodmares
4) I'm in nursing school for the second time, hated it the first time ten years ago and decided to finally finish it....I've matured and realised there will be options as a nurse besides working in places I hate
5) I feel like I just can't grow up
6) Wish I had 12 kids....
7) Had my 8th miscarraige after a successful IVF in September....now I'm putting it all in the past and working toward my own fitness goals
8) Hate my inlaws for all the mean they've done.... especially for threatening to call DYFS on us because we asked them to stop dropping by our house everyday uninvited without calling.
9) Wish sometimes I could be a better person and forgive people, but I can't just let go of wrongs done to me, especially with no apology offered.

Yesterday 01:34 PM You know, funny you should say that....he's been my best friend for 12 years, married for 7, and it's just lately I am starting to see something in him when he talks about work or just comes home after a rough day...something I just can't put a finger on. Like there is another person in him I really don't know at all. Kinda like when he was in the Marine Corps and we first saw each other at boot camp graduation, this "other" persona he has inside to deal with what he does. I'm glad you said that, though, at least I know I'm not crazy. But he's fine after he's been home a few minutes, back to his old self. I have the utmost respect and admiration for police officers like him and you, it takes a very special sprt of person to be able to do it.

2. I have an Associates Degree in Graphic Design, have a full time job, and am living nicely on my own. I'm not sure I'm happy with it though. Sometimes I want to change careers. I have no idea what I'd like to do though.

4. I feel lonely a lot. Even when I'm with other people.

Thanks for the post, man. It takes guts to talk about this stuff. I know because I have had some of the same issues in my life. Getting older helped, as did learning to accept myself as I am. Stay on board.
1. I am extremely introverted, which is often mistaken for aloofness or arrogance.
2. I have ADD, but have not sought treatment since the early 1980s when some quack psychiatrist had me on anti-psychotics.
3. I'm a slob, messes just seem to collect around me.
4. I've lived in the same apartment for over 14 years. There are some piles of crap in here that are almost that old.
5. I've had the same job, for the same employer, for over 11 years.
6. I don't have the heart to tell my dad that I can't stand my stepmom.
7. I'm a devout agnostic.
8. I'm a recovering credit card abuser. A few years ago my credit card debt was up to $18K, but I'm getting close to getting it all paid down, I should be debt free in another year.

here's some more info on the mysterious Pasion himself:
1. I am an Italian, German, French Canadaian, and Romanian - well that's my families decent anyhow. I don't gravitate towards any culture more than my Italian roots because of how my family was growing up. My dad's family is the German and French Canadian's and they do not like to relive their past due to some unfortunate shortcomings of my grandfathers parent's. So that side of the family I never really knew unless they were of my dad's immediate family. My mom's family was a just off the boat Italian family. So as you may imagine, Italians living in Chicago just kinda do things the old fashion way and the women in my life have usually been the rulers of the roost.
2. I am fiercely loyal to my family, friends, and myself. I do not hold any pretense as to what lengths I will go to protect them from harm. More times than once I have been pushed to the brink of snapping because someone was coming very close to harming a loved one, that's not a very good feeling. But it's one that I will always hold close to me. If I tell you that I consider you to be a good friend, a great friend, a loved one, or even a brother/sister of mine - know that you can always count on me to give you the support you need, no matter may be required I will be there for eternity.
3. I have never been in a fight. Not once in my lifetime, growing up I used to get picked on a lot and learned to either run or talk my way out of things. Once I started to hit the gym and gained about 20 pounds of muscle over the period of a year, people stopped messing with me and the ones that did continue to found that Phil no longer took crap from anyone. I've scared more people out of fighting with me than I can remember. And, I'm not that big of a guy but I am like a wolverine when it comes to protecting myself.
4. The IronTrybe was not the first online community I've been a part of, however, this is the only one that has welcomed myself and many many others with open arms. This board is the best place on the internet and the many people whom I've come to know are some of my closest friends and confidants. Refer back to #1 for any other questions about that.
5. I love all kinds of music, except for country. I don't like the twang, it's annoying.
6. Although I have not had a hard life, so to speak, I think back to all of the shit I did while growing up and wish I hadn't been such a self-indulged prick. I think I would be so much farther along with my life if I didn't think of me first as often as I have. I reflect on all of the pain I've caused my family because I was so blind to the world around me, and I have vowed never to let that happen again in my life. And that is a major crutch of mine because now I am so damn stubborn and my pride gets in the way of rational thinking sometimes because I don't want to let my family or friends down.
7. The only regret I have with my life is not joining the Air Force with my best friend Tony. I wish that I could have served by his side and helped to protect this country.
8. I don't have a guilty conscience either. I act with the best intentions in mind and I rarely act without thinking through to the end solution. Sometimes that's good and sometimes that's bad. I think I may have missed more opportunites for prosperity because of it, however, it has also allowed me to lead a somewhat safe life up till now. I have goals and dreams and I know that in order to seek out the life I want I need to go out and get it. It won't come to me. My life of safety is over and my new life of prosperity is beginning.
9. I have sinus problems which bug the ever living fuck out of me. I can't do much about it because I'm also allergic to just about every medication under the sun. Bastards.
10. The only thing I fear in life is losing RedHot71. I have nightmares at night thinking about losing her to her job, or someone else, or her cheating on me with someone at her job, or her not loving me anymore. It's stupid because she's here for me and she just helped bail me out of almost having my car repo'd, so I know she's not going anywhere. I just can't help but worry that she may go elsewhere because I can't be the man she wants me to be. And she thinks I'm jealous when she goes out, not jealous worried. I can't protect her and she knows I want to always be there to make sure she stays safe. I'll have to grow up one day soon, lol. (in case you all didn't know, she is my life and she is the reason I wake up with a smile.)

1. I am a certified MECP car stereo installer. Got my first about 6 years ago and before that I got an at-home NAME certification as my mom thought it would help jump start me so she paid for the course.
2. I was mostly raised by my grandmother and aunt till I was 10.
3. My main passions have been going fast and hard about since birth. My dad was a hardcore moto-x rider from about the time he could hold up a 50cc bike so I think it changed fim genetically and passed it off to me. I have 350 V-8s with mods in both of my rides and love riding motorcycles to go fast.
4. I almost wasnt born. My dad split his muscle between his ass and dick in half ( I guess youd say the taint muscle). He was on his bike coming off a jump as his feet came off the pegs and he landed it, on his taint. He went for something like 3 weeks pissing blood until he finally went to the doctor to have it stitched back together. The doctor said a few more days and the muscle would have retracted so much he wouldnt have been able to reattach it. Dad said it hurt for days as the muscle had to stretch back out. He also almost died in a Baja Bug after a drunk old man pulled out of a bar infront of them. The rear rollcage broke sending a bar through his right shoulder and as the glass shattered it send shards into his eye and he hit something shatterring his eye socket. He was in a coma for days and almost did make with those and all the other wounds.
5. Both my dad and I are like hermits. We dont go out, we stay in the house, never visit people, and hate talking on the phone.

1: it took me 6 years to graduate from college, even though I only have a BA (I was working almost full time and didnt care about school)
2: my wife and most of my 'real life' friends know nothing about my presence on the boards and anything else that might go along with the world we're in, here ;)
3: I have made many friends and some very good ones on the boards, whom I speak to daily, or every few days, and have to lie about 'who' they are to my wife. sucks...but that's how it is
4: I'll help anyone when asked, but will never ask for help myself
5: I have ADHD and some strong OCD tendencies as well
6: I get choked up fairly easily during heart tugging moments in movies. tears and "damn allergies!" are somewhat common, though I can count the times/reasons I've truly cried in the past 10 years on one hand.
7: I did public speaking for children of alcoholics all during high school. in fact, I was a keynote speaker in front of 1000s at a national convention in san diego when I was a freshman. I subsequently got mad at our director my senior year (she was basically exploiting us for her gain/notoriety) and stopped all public speakings
8: I was completely sober from age 14 to 30. one day decided to drink again and have been drinking almost daily since. no drugs and I dont like drugs being used around me (but AAS is ok....odd, huh)
9: the only thing that embarasses me is sincere compliments. you could depants me in front of the entire cowboys cheerleading squad and laugh at me, but I wouldnt really care. I'd prolly do a little dance. however....if you tell me I have pretty eyes, I'll look away, maybe blush and bite my lips.
10: my daughter is the only person I'd lay down and die for. I'm fiercely loyal and I'll defend and fight for my friends, kill for my closest friends and wife, but my angel is the only one I'll die for.

10-I was all state football in high school, had numerous scholarships, but needed re-constructive sugery on my shoulder the first week of college. I hung my shoulder pads up.
9-I conquered my fear of heights bungee jumping into the Pacific Ocean at Sea World on the Gold Coast of Austraila.

7-My parents were divorced when I was 14, and now have 2 awesome step parents, and grew up with more opportunities because of it.

I'm a bit of a lurker here, haven't posted much. However, here are my 10.
1. I will be 30 in November

3. I played rugby in college at OSU. Haven't gotten back into it but hope to.

1. Varsity swimmer for 3 years in HS (missed it my freshman year by 2 points!)
2. Although I stand about 6' and weigh 250+, I am still self-conscious/feel small sometimes. Don't know why.
3. ABSOLUTELY hate my mid-section. I see myself in pictures and don't want others to see them.
4. Went into a serious downward spiral after my best friend drowned in Nov. 1999. Started drinking heavier (case every couple of days), ended up getting fired from my job, did a couple of temp jobs, finally pulled my shit together with the help of my wife & a counselor.
5. Have been with my wife since March 1992 (HS sweet hearts), married since Oct. 10 1998.
6. Lost my virginity to my wife.
7. Have only been with one other woman besides my wife. Unfortunately didn't enjoy it as much as I could have due to the four of us consuming WAY, WAY too much wine that night. Kind of a spontaneous thing.
8. My kids mean more to me then anything else in the world.
9. My Dad is one of my best friends.
10. I regularly worry that I will somehow loss my wife to someone else, an accident, or what ever.

1) I am extremely good with numbers but might even be legaly retarded with words. You can't imagine how much I used to struggle to string a sentence together(I still suck at it,lol).
2) I often get very frustraited in discusions because I'll realize that what I said/posted was far off from what I actually ment, it takes me a while to figure out how to comunicate it correctly even though it is clear in my mind (see above).
3) I'm individualistic to the point of absurdity, and only associate with very small numbers of people, and those associations do not go very far, yet I am supprisingly good with people when I have to be, like in job interviews or talking with professors.
4) I've never been in love, though I would like to think that I am capable of it. It sounds so fun after all.
5) I'm very cheap.
6) I am a dog person, although I still like cats.
7) I can't remember the names of some people that I see on a dayly basis. (see 1 and 4)
8) I'm as anti-government and capitalist as you can possibly get.
9) My style of dress is brilliantly engineered to aviod any appearence of style or theme.
10) My quite, individualistic nature dispises all forms of conflict but I also have a very strong personality that sometimes drags me into it.

Thanks. It definitely has been an adjustment. I couldn't swing the cpap. I have 2 uncles who use one and they think its great. Surgery was not high on my list of fun things to do.

3. I lived off my CC's during my divorce, don't ask me how, my atty was even impressed but I am now dealing with trying to get them paid off .
4. I feel lost and unable to help my best friend of almost 30 years who's mom is seriously ill and dying....but my thoughts and prayers are with them...

I can believe #5 of you cutie...I'm the same way...It serves me well at times but is also what causes me some of my problems.

1. When I was about 18, my friends and I were really drunk and I tried to surf on the roof of a van going 60 mph on the highway. I fell off and hit the road hard. I lost a lot of skin and splintered some bone. It was a lot of fun.
2. My girlfriend from when I was 16 still loves me. We stay in touch by email and phone... and she named her first daughter after me. She will come out to visit my wife and I in a couple months.
3. I'm a widower. My wife was a bodybuilder and won 1st place in every show she entered. We were married in the ICU at the hospital. She lived a month and two days after we were married.
4. I was a nationally recognized poet and writer before I was out of my teens.
5. I was thrown out of college by the founder of the Peace Corps.
6. I worked in entertainment TV for years and used to eat lunch each day on the bridge of the Starship Enterprise. (It was the only quiet place I could find on the Paramont lot.)
7. I haven't seen my parents or brother in 25 years.
8. I two dogs that sleep in bed with me and my second wife - and they cry if we don't let them in bed.
9. I seem to have a knack for handling troubled teenagers and have yet to find one I can't talk to.
10. I once poured water on myself so that I could walk into a bonfire and not die.

OK... lets see if there are 10 things people don't know about me.
1. I was with a girl between the ages of 19-21.5, we broke up mutually because we thought we were too young and its one of the biggest regrets of my life. I think about it every day and often have dreams/nightmares about her.
2. I am a MAJOR workaholic, I work 8-5pm full time for a Business Intelligence company and own my own business on the side which I operate on weekends and on the evenings during the week.
3. I don't actually fuck goats.. LOL
4. I spend a lot of time wishing I was with somebody/had somebody to spend my minimal free time with. I seem to find somebody new every week or two, but as soon as they start to get close to me, i get rid of them. Mental Tug of war.. its fucked.
5. I overanalyze the shit out of absolutely fucking everything. Life, peoples personalities, peoples reactions, peoples actions, behavior.... EVERYTHING
6. I am a very high low person... when Im in a good mood, I am down to do anything and almost always have a good time. When I'm in a low mood, I just like to chill.
7. I am very driven to succeed in just about anything I do... I get almost obsessed and won't stop until I acheive my goal.
8. I tend to drink too much on the weekends.
9. I have spent one evening in jail because i was a passenger in a car with a drunk driver. I've also crashed as a passenger in a drunk vehichle going over 180 KM/hour... DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.. ITS STUPID... YOUNG AND DUMB
10. I have gotten the shit kicked out of me so badly it snapped my nose and gave me a concussion that had me humming sesame street for 2 weeks. Was my one and only ambulance ride.
EDIT: 11. Everybody thinks I'm italian, but I'm really, French, English, Irish, Scottish, Norweigen and some sort of latin...
