Hey, I was just wondering if someone can give me tips on dieting...I read that article on carbs, proteins, and fats and it helped alot. I am 160lbs and trying to gain weight and muscle. Is it ok to drink protein shakes everday? and is it better to drink one b4 u work out or right after? Also are MRP's necessary? Thanks again

Protein shakes are essential or I doubt anyone would get all of teh protein needed to grow with as much ease. But the majority of your calories should be in food not just shakes. I down a shake with more carbs before my workouts and one higher in Protein afterwards. I drink about 4-5 a day. MRPs are great for extra calories and for when you just cant get in a meal for whatever reason, but again food has not substitute. And drink water until you cant drink anymore and then drink some more. I had neglected this before and now am being more careful to do this and teh diff is very evident !

take 3 shakes a day, from alltheywhey.com of course cuz its the best way to go, 1 when u wake up one post workout and one before you go to bed, this covers a good bit of the protein u need in a day, the rest just fill with healthy foods like lean steaks and chicken breasts. and if u want to gain weight rape peanut butter and all carbs, works for me when bulking.

i dont know if i would rape the peanut butter it might be hard to get off unless you got a big dog. but other than that bulk you said what i was going to

Buy a bunch of chicken breasts,cook um,bag um, and just everytime your near the refrigertor just eat,eat,eat.

yes yes yes chicken boob is very very high in protien. now pre cooking a shit ton and eating like you said big, i think i am going to the store tonight to buy me some more chicken breast i got a long night of cooking ahead of me.
