or at least I feel like it! I went to the gym for the first time yesterday and went back today. Im taking tomm off! Yesterday I did incline, decline, front and rear lat pulldowns, cable tri extensions, lateral side raises, and did a turn on the dip machine! After that I ate a huge steak and potato

Today I did flat bench, cable flys, a few tri extensions again( to show my buddy that I could max it out), ran over 3/4 mile, calf raises, and hammer ab crunches. After that I ate sushi and some broiled shrimp and had to get a small bowl of ice cream, had to

anyway Im dying now! I think I need to join that gym at the end of this 7 day free pass. I feel like I really wanna go and I might be a closet gym junky

Forklift, extra vitamins C and E will expedite DOMS going away. And if you really suspect you're a gym junkie, you're not a puss. :)

thanks ceebs. Im about to go to bed Im so sore and tired

b fold, I wasnt that bad before the workout, but hurt like hell after! I didnt try to do that but peer pressure is a bitch. I realized that I shouldnt have done the flat bench today after a few reps and stopped.

I forgot , I also did barbell curls, curl bar curls and reverse curl bar curls.

I suspect im a junkie cuz after I went yesterday, its all I thought about today

Why the ban flag?

I think he was being sarcastic - one of the cardinal rules of weight training is that you do not hit the same body parts two days in a row. :)

like I said , I wasnt trying to but I worked out with one friend one day and another the next. The second guy was treating me like a punk I was so worn out from the first day that he was dissing me and pushing me to do stuff I shouldnt have!

Also , Ive always done stuff like hit the same muscle group doing the same workouts up to 3 times a week, I guess just never so dam hard! Over the years Ive almost always done it myself so nobody there pushing me. I need to take music with me so I dont hear them next time

Yup, just messing with you.

There is definetely a place for very high frequency training, but I would lower the volume a good bit. Probably not the best idea to hit the same muscle group two days in a row with high volume, specially for the natural athlete. JMHO though. Many top athletes train like this though, so what do I know. :)
