So you want to be able to eat more protien in one sitting and actually be able to digest it huh? Well there is a trcik, and its cheap, and all natural.

GINGER ROOT! By taking ginger root right before you consume a large protien meal you will be able to better digest and actually absorb the protien that you are eating. From what I understand, Ginger Root has 180 times the protein digesting power of papaya.

Macro over at Elite first made me aware of this and I started buying his Ginger Root and what can I say, it worked wonders!

I normally take about 500mg prior to every meal, but have taken as much as 1500mg prior when I was really bulking.

I've started taking it whenever I'm taking in more than 30grams of protein in one sitting, especially if it's real food as opposed to whey proteins. No reason...just felt like being cute.

Is 500mg the "standard" or "average" dose? And when should it be taken, like 30 min before the meal?

I'm interested because everyone seems to like it so much and so I plan on adding it when I start dieting next week.

I have heard that Ginger Root also helps to digest your food... it was advised to me about my constant heartburn.

There are no exact dosages, just suggests taking 2 capsules, 2-3 times a day w/ water during meals. It's not lethal or anything so i'm sure twice a day would be just fine.

Ginger root is great. I have persistant heartburn from a hundred different things so its either a bland diet or something to take the edge off the stress all the protein gives. Pepcid, tums... all that
only work so much, but taking a little ginger with meals and even at nite's great to help stomach problems. I first learned bout ginger from a Jamaican woman in the Caymans. All the rich stuff she made never bugged me so I asked her why and she told me its the ginger she used. Ill make a ginger tea sometimes to calm the stomach. Cant say enough bout it and vitamin "O".

The tabs I have are 550mg each and the bottle says take two tabs 5 times a day.

I used to get realy bad bloat..until the magic of ginger root..grate stuff! Right before I use protien shakes or rich heavy foods.

Ginger Root is a must for any complete meal
MUCH Better digestion , less bloat , less farts , better intestinal restore.
